Privacy Policy
Effective July 13, 2026
Wabamm (“Wabamm,” “we,” “us”) provides software — our web and mobile apps — that business owners, editors, and agencies use to run their video operations, along with any editing services we provide to existing members. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. It applies to wabamm.com, app.wabamm.com, and our mobile apps.
Information we collect
- Account & contact details — name, email, phone number, business name, and the credentials you use to sign in.
- Billing information — handled by our payment processor (Stripe); we do not store full card numbers.
- Content you upload — video footage, images, audio, brand assets, briefs, comments, and messages you submit to the platform.
- Workspace & project data — organizations, workspaces, projects, versions, deadlines, and (for agencies) the clients and editors you manage.
- Messaging consent — whether you opted into transactional and/or marketing text messages, plus the time, page, IP address, and the version of the consent language you were shown (our record of your consent).
- Usage & device data — IP address, browser/device type, pages viewed, and, in our mobile apps, push-notification tokens and the media-library/camera permissions you grant.
- Cookies & analytics — see “Cookies & tracking” below.
How we use information
- Provide, operate, and improve the platform and any editing services we provide.
- Transcode, store, stream, and deliver the video and assets you upload.
- Process payments, manage subscriptions, and prevent fraud.
- Send transactional messages (account, project, and billing notifications) and, with your separate consent, marketing messages.
- Provide support and respond to your inquiries.
- Operate the affiliate program and attribute referrals.
SMS / text messaging
Phone numbers and SMS consent are collected only when you choose to provide them — for example on our contact form or our booking widget. Transactional and marketing text messages are separate, optional opt-ins; neither is required to use our services. You can opt out anytime by replying STOP, or reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies.
How we share information
We share information only as needed to run the service, and never sell it. Categories of recipients:
- Service providers / sub-processors — Supabase (database, auth), Cloudflare R2 (asset storage), Mux (video transcoding/streaming), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Expo (mobile push), GoHighLevel (CRM & SMS), PostHog (product analytics), and Vercel (hosting).
- Within your organization — your data is visible to the editors and admins in your workspace. For agencies, your agency controls its editors’ and clients’ access.
- Legal — when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
Agencies using the software act as the controller of their own clients’ content; Wabamm processes that content on the agency’s behalf to provide the platform.
Content storage & retention
- Video is processed and stored via Mux; other assets are stored in Cloudflare R2.
- When a project is archived, its footage is retained for a limited window (currently 30 days) and then purged; the project record remains as a history entry.
- Each plan includes a storage allotment; files you store remain accessible while your subscription is active.
- We retain account and transaction records as needed for legal, tax, and operational purposes.
Cookies & tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, analytics (e.g. PostHog, Google Analytics), and advertising measurement (e.g. the Meta Pixel). You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Mobile apps
Our mobile apps may request access to your media library and camera to let you upload footage, and may register a push-notification token to send you the notifications you’ve enabled. You control notification categories in the app.
Your choices & rights
- Opt out of marketing email anytime via the unsubscribe link; opt out of SMS by replying STOP.
- Access, correct, or delete your personal information by contacting us.
- Close your account; we’ll delete or de-identify data except where retention is required.
Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Effective” date above.
